Honey Bare Learning Center · Erie, Colorado
A little lift. A lot less effort. If that sounds like your kind of beauty routine, start with what a lash lift actually does, how tint changes the finish, and what to ask before booking at Honey Bare Wax Bar.
Lash lift vs. tint: what is the difference?
A lift changes the curl of the lashes you already have. Tint adds color. Neither adds extension fibers or makes lashes grow longer. Your natural lash length and condition affect the finish.

How to prepare for a lash lift or tint
- Arrive with clean lashes and no mascara or eye makeup.
- Share previous reactions to lash products, adhesives, tints, or other cosmetics.
- Tell me about eye conditions, recent eye treatments, and current irritation before booking.
- Ask in advance about product ingredients, suitability, and patch-testing requirements. Testing cannot guarantee that a reaction will not occur.
Products used around the eyes can cause irritation or allergic reactions. If you have an eye condition or recent procedure, ask your eye-care professional whether cosmetic lash treatment is appropriate. We may need to postpone when the eye area is irritated or unwell.
What happens at the appointment?
We’ll review your intake, discuss your lashes and the finish you want, and explain the chosen service. You can ask questions before we begin. Share discomfort immediately during treatment; burning or pain should not be treated as something you need to tolerate.
Lash lift aftercare: follow the product-specific plan
Before leaving, ask when you can wet your lashes, cleanse, wear makeup, swim, or use your usual lash products. Requirements depend on the treatment system, so a blanket “24 hours” or “48 hours” rule online may not match your appointment.
Handle lashes gently and keep the eye area clean using the instructions provided. Do not add another lash treatment or try to correct the curl yourself. Contact the studio about cosmetic results; seek prompt medical care for eye pain, vision changes, or significant swelling.
Common questions before booking
Is a lift the same as extensions?
No. A lift works with existing lashes. If you want extra fibers or a much fuller extension look, a lift is a different service with different expectations.
How long will the result last?
It varies with your natural lash cycle, treatment response, and aftercare. New lashes will gradually change the look. We’ll discuss realistic expectations and suitable timing before another appointment rather than promising a fixed number of weeks.
Can I pair lashes with brow services?
Yes, we offer brow waxing, lamination, and tinting too. Ask about scheduling and suitability before combining treatments. For skin-focused care, explore our dermaplaning options.
