THINKING ABOUT GETTING A BRAZILIAN WAX IN ERIE, CO?

Thinking about your first Brazilian? You don’t need to arrive feeling fearless. I’m Tasha, your owner and licensed esthetician at Honey Bare Wax Bar. I’ll explain what to expect, answer your questions, and check in with you along the way.

Completely bare, a little hair left behind, or still deciding? We’ll talk it through before we start. Your appointment happens in a private Erie studio, with straightforward pricing and no tipping.

What Is a Brazilian Wax?

A Brazilian wax removes hair from the front, sides, labia, and between the cheeks. You can remove everything or leave a strip or triangle. There’s no right amount of hair to keep. We’ll choose what feels right for you.

Less Time With Your Razor

Waxing removes hair from the root rather than cutting it at the surface. That means longer-lasting smoothness and fewer mornings spent shaving. Your results will depend on your hair growth and where you are in your waxing routine.

I’ll help you find a schedule that works for you and talk through aftercare based on your skin. Browse all services or compare Brazilian waxing prices.

First Brazilian? Let’s Talk.

Does a Brazilian wax hurt?

There are a few spicy moments, especially the first time. I’ll be honest about that. I’ll also explain each step, check in with you, and give you room to ask for a pause. You don’t have to tough it out in silence.

What if I’m nervous or embarrassed?

Tell me. You’re welcome exactly as you are, and you don’t need to apologize for your body, hair, scars, or stretch marks. My attention is on your skin and your comfort.

Should I trim beforehand?

Usually, no. Hair should be about a quarter inch long, roughly the length of a grain of rice. If you’re unsure about your growth, reach out before your visit. Find more preparation answers in the waxing FAQ.

Can I get waxed during my period?

Yes. Use a fresh tampon or menstrual cup, and keep in mind that you may feel more sensitive than usual.

Your Appointment, Step by Step

  1. We’ll talk about what you want removed, your skin, and any questions.
  2. You’ll have privacy to get ready.
  3. I’ll explain the process and wax in sections, checking in as we go.
  4. We’ll finish with aftercare guidance and talk about your next visit.

Pick the music, chat with me, or enjoy some quiet. This is your appointment.

Brazilian Wax Aftercare

A little care afterward helps your skin settle. For the first 24 hours, avoid hot tubs, tanning, excessive sweating, friction, and heavily fragranced products on the waxed area. After 48 hours, gentle exfoliation can help minimize ingrown hairs. I’ll walk you through what makes sense for your skin before you leave.

A Private Studio. A Familiar Face.

You’ll see me each visit. I’ll pay attention to how your skin responds, explain my recommendations, and leave room for your questions. The price includes my care and expertise. Tipping is never expected, and extras are your choice.

A Few More Questions

How long do results last?

Results vary with your hair-growth cycle. We’ll talk about what to expect from your first visit and how your routine may change over time.

How often should I return?

Every four to six weeks is a useful starting point. We’ll adjust to your growth and preferences.

Can I shave between appointments?

You can, but letting the hair grow gives the wax enough length to grip at your next visit. If your plans change, we can work out your timing together.

What should I wear?

Loose, comfortable clothing helps reduce rubbing afterward. Keep it easy.

Ready When You Are.

Your first Brazilian is $49. Regular Brazilian visits are $60, and tipping is never expected. Bring yourself and your questions. I’ll take care of the rest.
